Originally designed by Angelo Baque, the Cream Cloud Grey ASICS Gel-NYC is a mix of retro and contemporary influences. For example, the Gel-Nimbus 3 and Gel-MC Plus V inspired the upper, while the sole construction borrows from the Gel Cumulus 16.
This gives the sneaker updated Gel cushioning in the heel and outsole, while celebrating early 2000s running shoes with a chunky, layered upper. Breathable mesh in Cream forms the base, while Cloud Grey leather and synthetic layers create a supportive, cross-pattern on the side panels.
